Has Your Computer Become
a Slow-poke? Does It Balk at Opening Some Programs or Files?
This is a normal result of using your
computer and is an expected yet undesirable behavior. Your
computer hardware is probably in good health, but the software can
become corrupt through no fault of yours. However there is a cure other
than the widely advertised PC Matic @ $49.95 and the doctor bill is zip,
nada, zero - FREE. In fact the cure should be applied routinely
just as you would routinely change oil in your automobile.

RE: eBlast Messages
When you receive an e-mail from DAR - Do NOT Reply,
please don't just hit
Reply. Instead, read the message carefully to see who
authored the message and then reply to her address.
If you simply hit
Reply, two things will happen: 1. Your reply will be
received by a dumb computer and be discarded. AND 2.
You will receive an e-mail message with the Subject: Invalid
E-mail. The message will be "Your reply to the DAR eBlast was sent to a mailbox which cannot respond to your message. Please resend your message to the e-mail address of the person
named in the original message."

Keeping Up With DAR
DAR of Michigan uses several
methods to keep you informed of DAR activities. The "DAR of Michigan
Newsletter" is a prime example. Another method is the use of
mass e-mail messages called e-Blast; however, you must
register for this service. To register for general DAR of Michigan
announcements and/or Newsletter alerts, click below:
If you are a chapter regent, a state chairman, or state officer; we
have your e-mail address on file and keep separate mailing lists for
each of the three groups. Even so, this does not
guarantee that your e-mail address is on the above referenced
general announcement (e-Blast) list or newsletter alert list. So
please use the link above.
If you have not received e-mail notices from
the State within the past couple of months, you should re-register
and/or check to see if your internet provider is not forwarding mail
from michdar.com because it considers it to be spam. Mass
mailings are often blocked as spam. It's a case of "big brother
thinks he knows best."
